Emily Smith has always been deeply committed to uplifting and serving her community. Whether empowering women through pageantry or supporting those in need, her mission has been to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
A passion for community service has been at the heart of Emily's journey, which began in middle school. Over the years, she has contributed to a variety of causes, earning several accolades, including the prestigious Prudential Community Service Award, multiple "Best in Community Service" awards, and community service-based scholarships.

In 2016, Emily founded Lend a Paw, an organization dedicated to supporting animals in need. Through this initiative, she provides goods and services to assist animals, particularly those in shelters or facing hardship. One of her notable projects was the creation of a children's book in partnership with the Fur Angel Foundation, promoting responsible pet ownership. Additionally, Emily designed a pamphlet that educates pet owners on how to bake pet-friendly treats approved by the Humane Society. She has also organized toy and blanket drives to ensure animals receive the comfort and care they deserve.

As a resident of Hawaii, Emily has seen firsthand the challenges faced by the houseless population. She is actively involved with Aloha Harvest, an organization that provides food and resources to those experiencing homelessness. Emily was honored to receive Aloha Harvest's Art Award during high school for a piece of artwork that was auctioned off to raise funds for the organization. Since then, she has continued to contribute by donating clothing, food, toiletries, and other essential items on a monthly basis to support their mission.

Emily's dedication to community service extends beyond animal welfare and homelessness. She has volunteered at senior homes, participated in beach and park clean-ups, and read stories to children to inspire a love of reading. She also donates books to local libraries and continues her monthly support for various local charities, furthering her commitment to kindness, education, and making a positive impact wherever possible.
